Welcome to Access Church

At Access, we want you to know that you matter to God, and you matter to us. Whatever your background… whatever your circumstances, you’ll find Access is a safe and welcoming environment to have a conversation about God.

When you come you’ll find a casual atmosphere with upbeat, contemporary music and practical, encouraging messages. Kids will discover classes and activities that will have them begging to come back for more, and students will encounter programs that are relevant to teens.

You’ll find something for everyone in your family at Access Church! Come and join your neighbors and meet new friends in the west valley. We are just a short drive whether you live in Peoria, Glendale, Surprise or Phoenix.

We invite you to take a few minutes and look around our website to learn more. If you have any questions, just e-mail me or you can contact any of our staff members by clicking on Our Staff. Hope you have a great week and we would love to see you Sunday at Sunrise Mountain High!

Generosity Changes Everything
At Access, we believe that we serve a God who is generous. And when we start looking for ways to be generous to others- things start to change. People’s lives are touched. Needs are met. Connections are made. Our outlook on life is transformed. This is why we say ‘Generosity Changes Everything!’

As a way to experience this truth together, we decided to try a simple experiment. On Sunday, February 28, every adult at Access Church was given $5 (and every child $1), not to spend on themselves, but to give away. This week we are looking for an opportunity to give these small gifts to people as God directs.

And for those of you who are participating- we want to hear your stories of generosity! Once you’ve given away your money, we invite you to take a moment and share with us what happened by just adding a comment below.

The massive Haiti earthquake that struck on January 12 is feared to have killed more than 100,000 and Haitian officials have stated that it is possibly much higher. Most of the damage was in the heavily populated capital of Port-au-Prince. Officials agree that immediate emergency response is critical to save those trapped in the rubble. Just as critical will be the rapid deployment of provisions to the region, especially clean water and basic medical supplies in the days ahead.

Won’t you help us to reach out with the love of Christ to those in desperate need? Food For the Hungry is one of the largest Christian relief organizations in the world. They have had a base of operations in Haiti for years and are well-equipped to purchase, ship and distribute the supplies that the Haitian people need.
Hey Gang,

As we wrap-up 2009 and head into 2010, it’s a natural time to look ahead and make goals for the coming year. As I thought about my personal goals for next year, I felt moved to read through the whole Bible in 2010- and I want to encourage you to join me! Jesus said, ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God’ (Matthew 4:4). I believe God is going to fill us up this coming year with wisdom and strength that will help us all rise up to new levels in 2010!
